With roots in the UK garage and grime scenes, Ash brings deep knowledge of electronic production and hip-hop culture to their criticism. They've contributed to FACT Magazine, Resident Advisor, and Crack Magazine, and host a monthly show on NTS Radio.
Bishop Taylor
Bishop Taylor is a musicologist and critic whose writing bridges the gap between academic analysis and passionate fandom. With a doctorate in ethnomusicology from SOAS, Bishop brings scholarly depth to accessible prose. His work focuses on jazz, folk traditions, and the cross-pollination of world music genres. He has written for The Wire, Songlines, and Jazzwise.
Joe Morrison
Joe Morrison has been writing about music for over fifteen years. A former touring guitarist turned critic, he brings a musician's ear and a writer's sensibility to every review. His writing has appeared in Pitchfork, NME, and The Quietus. When he's not dissecting guitar tones, he's probably arguing about Radiohead on the internet.
